Winning Entry: Cool In The Face Of Danger

The winner of this weeks battle will:

  • Recieve 3 months of Reddit Gold!

  • Get to choose next week's stock image.

  • Get a number added to their contributor flair.

    If you haven't won a battle before, your standard flair will be replaced by this winners' flair. If you've already won one battle, you'll get this winners' flair, etc.

  • Get to keep our trophy flair for a week, after which it's handed on to the next winner.

I don't really want to sound like a douche, but anyway someone gotta say it: this battle wasn't so good. The quality of the submissions is disappointing.

Your shop was one of the few entries that you could see the creator put some effort into.

Eventhough I didn't like a few effects you used I have to say that I loved your shop. You paid attention to the details like shadows, placement, perspective (the whole fake blood thing was very well exectued), lights and colors.

Good job, you deserve to win (not because the others aren't too good, but because yours is amazing).

I was reading my comment again now and realized I was too harsh. I mean, we are not expecting every single person here to be a photoshop master, I can see the work of some people and you can tell they are improving.

In the end the point of this sub is to have a good laugh. A well made shop just improves this factor.

Yeah, I agree. I really see where you're coming from on that. I myself was disappointed I didn't have enough time, but I made a .gif for this one, and had to submit it quickly once I saw voting was open. It was not very good, and unfinished, but yeah; if you would refrain from explicitly throwing the lack of quality in our faces that would be great. Most of us already understand we most likely won't be winning.

It's actually pretty easy, depending on what you're doing. For something like this, though, I'd definitely go with photoshop.

Not bad - try to use the soft focus lense (or however it's called in your graphics program) for the edges. The sharp edges make the shopped content stand out a little bit.

You can see it especially good at the fur of the dog between his head and the basket and also the basket itself.

That's actually not true. If you look closely at the photo, you can actually see his head warping due to the bullet passing through it.
