You can vote for as many different entries as you want, but please do not downvote. Downvotes will not be counted when deciding winners.

The Schedule

All entries will be hidden for the first 48 hours.
Voting will open on Tuesday, after which all entries will be visible.

Contest mode will be enabled for another 24 hours. This will sort comments randomly, obscure vote counts, and automatically minimize child comments.
Contest mode will be disabled on Wednesday.

From there on out, each comment's vote total will be visible, and entries can be sorted by karma (just like any other reddit thread).
The Battle will end on Saturday, October 8^th.

Next week's battle will be posted early Sunday morning.

Great job. Reminds me of Gilliam's Python stuff. The pipe recoil / jitter on the way back in is the perfect touch. Kept looking at the blinks trying to see how many frames and how much alteration around the eye there was cuz they look so good - heightened for comedy yet totally organic feeling.

Good coloring, but for accuracy's sake green is a weird color for a miner's helmet.

I'm in no way hating, but... It is pretty sweet, it is, but- I don't get it. This could have been done with any picture. A cow would have worked just the same, you feel me? Feels kinda lazy.

In /u/PardusEidolon's defence, that can be said about any effect too — which is the entire point of photoshop contests :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, what I like in Psbattles is when it gives me emotions. "Effects" can give emotions, right, but with concept or idea it can go further. Here it's technically good, but without any feelings IMHO. Also no hate against you, /u/PardusEidolon. :)

Ok, I can understand where your coming from :) it's things like these that can help me learn what to do do next in the future. I learn from past experiences so it's vital that I at least get some feedback on what I'm doing wrong. :D
