astrophotography

I couldn't find a cool template so I recycled some of my own line art.

Shout-out to all astrophotographers! Special thanks to Adam Block and NASA. 3rd party sources (album)

I sort of did a similar thing a while ago, so it's not exactly a colouring page. Apologies if this doesn't count - ignore me :)

Anyway, I drew this building a while ago.

I cut it out and put it on a backdrop after sorting out the proportions.

Then I started "colouring it in" with textures.

Step 1...Step 2...Step 3

Step 4...Step 5...Step 6

Step 7...Step 8...Step 9

Final

Again, sorry if this doesn't count.

Holy crap, this is crazy. Love how it's just irises that supply the color

The highlights and lighting on the legs and arms of the girl look awesome. How did you do that in PS?

Just using a mouse with a round/oval software brush to change the lightness, saturation, white balance, and hue of a flat base color. I'm using Corel Paintshop Pro (PS-light knockoff). I just started using that particular program so progress is slow while getting the hang of it.

The kakapo has been colored with all kinds of nature pics from New Zealand, its home.
