Can't speak for this guy, but one trick is to sharpen whichever one is blurrier and reduce noise from whichever is noisier, and then after you combine them, re-add noise and blur. If sharpening isn't working, you can do the opposite (blur the sharper one to start with, then maybe sharpen the composite, or not). As for the tone/contrast, Photoshop's level adjustments do wonders (there are better tools included with newer CS versions).

Thanks, the actual In The Way Guy could have used some texture editing to make him fit into the scene better but it was a lot of work and I figured this will die off in a few hours anyways.

Lee Harvey Oswald, the prime suspect in JFK's assassination, is shot in the abdomen by Jack Ruby during his transfer to jail. He died a couple hours later.

I think it might actually have been done pre-PS. At least, the part with Oswald holding the mic has been around forever, though maybe the keyboard and guitar were added later.

Do you know Gandhi? Churchill? Lenin? Stalin? Hitler? Thatcher? They are from different countries and from decades ago but you probably know them, right?

I was just half joking with you but there a lot of things that happen in other countries before we are born that are still famous. I figure JFK is very famous (leader of the superpower is assassinated and video caught the moment) so I figure the whole story of Lee Harvey Oswald was also relatively known in other countries. The assassin gets assassinated on TV.

Of course. But american politics is not as big of a history subject in Norway as in USA obviously. I remember learning about the assassination of JFK how and when he died. I don't remember learning they caught a Lee Harvey Oswald.

I think JFK / Lee Harvey Oswald constitutes world history?!?! For God's sake, how often is the leader of the superpower assassinated in modern times??? I know how Gandhi & Churchill look but I am neither Indian nor English. I know who killed Caesar but I am neither Italian nor Roman. So am I that far off thinking someone from another country would know JFK and the famous video of his assassin being assassinated himself?

It's not like I was expecting him to know anything about Eisenhower, Carter, Ford, etc.
