The Rules
Submit your entry as a comment to this thread.
You can post as many as you want.
To vote for an entry, just upvote the users comment.
You can vote for as many different entries as you want, but please do not downvote. Downvotes will not be counted when deciding winners.
Every entrant gets a contributor flair.
These will be handed out by a bot, but due to our comment hiding system, sometimes it misses people. If you entered but didn't get one, just send the mods a message, and we'll fix you up.
Winners can enter Weeklies for which they have submitted the stock image, but they will not be eligible to win.
Please be sure to tag NSFW entries appropriately.
If you see anything inappropriate that's not tagged, either report the comment or send a message to the moderators.
The Schedule
All entries will be hidden for the first 48 hours.
Voting will open on Tuesday, after which all entries will be visible.
Contest mode will be enabled for another 24 hours. This will sort comments randomly, obscure vote counts, and automatically minimize child comments.
Contest mode will be disabled on Wednesday.
From there on out, each comment's vote total will be visible, and entries can be sorted by karma (just like any other Reddit thread).
The Battle will end on Saturday, October 19th.
Next week's battle will be posted early Sunday morning.
Best of luck, everyone, and have fun!!

This is what I am getting: https://i.imgur.com/rle9Wkl.png
It may be a good idea to remove the NSFW tag (or use it just here).

I didn't tag it mate! I don't even sign in to imgur...it seems to have auto-tagged it, if that's a thing?

u/xprmntng Oct 15 '19
Damn, that sucks. Most people will miss it. Could you post it to another image host too?

Huh, I was able to see it fine. I was singed in tho and I didn't see any NSFW tag. Weird. Great 'shop.

This is really cool.... Looked kinda choppy on first glance but it's actually amazing π€―
Love how the recursion fits into the given proportions and how you blended in the pictures. Great work!

Nice! I always baffled how you keep finding these amazing sources. Also perfectly blended, nice work π

Thanks man, it's mostly luck tbh. I have an idea then I google search and scroll until I find something mildly along the lines of what I am thinking, which helps refine my idea, then I search again, repeat until the image falls in my lap.......or I give up and change ideas haha. (In this case I think my end search was 'vintage pulp zombie magazine' ;D) Also I do spend time just clicking one Google image which links to another and so on, and save various things along the line for a later date.

Thanks man :-) I won't lie, I half expected one of your entries when I saw Rambo was the stock ;-)

Haha. Was genuinely gutted when I saw rambo pop up. On holiday this week and currently in the middle of a Forrest with what seems like a dial up internet connection. Some amazing entries this week. Swear the talent on this sub gets better and better each week :)

That's a shame, but at the same time sounds delightful :)
It's folk like yourself that set the standard on this sub, you wouldn't believe how many creation gifs and infographics I've poured over frame by frame in attempt to replicate techniques.
I imagine others are doing the same, because as you say, the talent here is phenomenal. It's always a tough battle every week.
Can't wait for the next Cman masterpiece

An alternative to this could have been him smashing a mirror due to his appearance,a scene in the film, but anyways incredible job! I would not have realised it was an edit if someone just showed me that image.

Nice work!
Did you build the RAMBO font yourself? I was just skimming through covers and poster and cannot find anything similar. Looks dope.

u/texasfld57 Oct 16 '19 edited Oct 16 '19
Thanks baka....the Rambo font is called "Shlop" its a Adobe font made by Ray Larabie..I edited the font adding cracks layer and shadow...(3 layer effects of shadow) used βBlend Ifβ to blend Rambo font into the background and jet..I blended separate color channels. the actual cutting out the helicopter and the men was a bitch...its from a very old picture from vietnam
