I received an angry, but legitimate, response to my post.
I get your anger, I really do! But, at some point, collectively, people are going to have to come together to defeat the Orange guy, because we can't do it alone.
"They actively chose to ignore the vast majority of the world’s warnings and trusted a conman". What warnings did they have when the #1 "news" network constantly fed them lies, and bent over backwards to defend his every action? All you have to do is watch Adam's videos of his interactions with Maga, to see that these people are grossly and massively misinformed/uninformed. Yes, they were duped by a conman, and Fox, and Alex Jones, and Newsmax, and the New York Post, etc...but, to blame the cult members for the cult, is ridiculous!
"Ridicule the fuck out of these people. Shame them out of existence. Never let them forget that they chose this and now they need to actively work to fix it.". Again, the voters aren't the ones reeking havoc, the liars are, not the lied to. And, if you think that shitting upon them, for "causing" the problem, is gonna help, well, then you are, also, massively misinformed/uninformed. BTW, shame can have great results, but not always.
"Learn from Germany’s past; don’t roll over and play nice with people who chose to destroy our country; they wer e warned, very nicely by Kamala and Walz. ". Now, I've travelled Germany, quite a bit, and one of the things that I always had a problem reconciling, was, should young Germans collectively feel the guilt for things that they didn't do themselves. I was in Munich, at the train station, and there was an old guy espousing 1940's propaganda, and everyone around him, walked around with their heads down, in shame. It was really palpable! And, I thought is this a good thing? And, quite frankly, I'm still not sure.
Plus, should there be no blame on the Democrats for losing the election? Down the stretch they put a muzzle on Walz. Was that a good thing? Plus, they were in denial of Biden's condition until he shit the bed at the debate. PLUS, that's exactly what "they" want is for there to be infighting. Don't blame the conmen, blame the people who voted for them? It's extremely short-sighted.
The thing that I, mistakenly, left off my last post, was that, you can save your anger for the reckoning that will happen after he's gone. But, first, you have to put out the fire, and then you argue about who/what caused the fire in the first place.
Have a look at my post from a few days ago, about being Canadian, and everyone coming together to fight against OJ, like Americans did after 9/11. Cheers!
Please, give me a thumb!

They voted for a convicted rapist and conman. They won’t take kindly to some hippie dippie, open arms mentality. They voted for the strong man, not the welcome wagon crew. They see you wanting to absolve them of their guilt and welcome them in, as a weakness. How about we just work on policies that protect the working class and create some actual messaging around those policies instead of having some pity party where we rub each others backs and say it’s okay you voted for a criminal; you were duped by those mean ol news channels.
