Your account has been removed , no reason given[India]

What could be the reason? I booked an Airbnb beginning of March and stayed . While booking there was a payment issue when booking from my office laptop and had tried multiple times , maybe due to VPN. Then i had tried from personal laptop and payment went through. Within a week, they removed both my wife's and my account. I had booked through my account.

Sounds bizarre but have you chatted with a real person to get answers?

I don't understand, I clean Airbnb's for a living , stay free when I need to spend the time looking at the residence as a consumer would. So repairs / deeps can be done when there's a grace period between the tenants .So they are completely happy with their stay.  I do think there is definitely a mistake

Same situation sir. I contacted Airbnb and after a brief chat they referred me to a person who’s more knowledgeable at my cases that after couple of days they closed my cases with no proper response and now I couldn’t reach out to them again.

This happens a lot. They use an algorithm to score users’ ‘trustworthiness’ based on data it mines. You will call customer service but they won’t do anything except say they are referring it to another team. Your wife’s account got closed cos the algorithm knows you are connected and anyone closely connected to a banned account also gets banned. They don’t have an appeals team as far as i could tell when it happened to me. Probably cheaper for them just to ban people than have a specialist team reviewing cases.
