I 2nd this, but supervising while they play helps. Also, with all this fluffy cuteness, you just know they are in such awe of all this magic flying around that their brain is working overtime lol. Its good for them mentally.

Lol, but I'm curious too as to where you got that contraption. My cat would love it. Did you make it?

Itās a āperpetual motionā machine that uses electromagnets in the base to keep the little balls from losing momentum.

Iām not sure if that design has a name, but this one on Amazon looks similar

The most difficult part of building a perpetual motion machine is hiding the battery.

Cat sees a perpetual motion engine and is trying to figure out how to harness it for infinite free energy.
Idiot doesn't even know about the laws of thermodynamics and that there's gotta be an electromagnet in the base

Cat physicists are so hyperspecialized that they only study gravity with objects near table and shelf edges, and the optics of laser pointers.

They also study quantum superposition using boxes and vials of poison

Those are the grad students. You can tell because they're in the actual box and never seem to graduate.

There is no way she didn't say "oh my goodness" when she covered her mouth - that's painfully cute š
