Funny animal That's why humans and animals should not cross paths in the wild

Alot like the cat dispersal system, here we see the sheep dispersal system at work.

I think there might be a issue with the sheep distribution system, usually it's one animal per person, the integers need recalibrated

"this is why humans and animals should not cross paths in the wild"
Because a flock of animals that have been domesticated since before we invented writing might mistake you for their shepherd and take a very enthusiastic stroll with you?

Some people are bitter, man. I'd have had a blast with those sheep

This never happened to me when I jogged regularly. Should have gone to France to jog.

This is your life now, you are now a shepherd.

u/Known-Zombie-3092 9d ago
I would be ok with this. I'll pretend for a while then try and return the sheep. Lol

It ain't a sheepdog, it doesn't have 4 legs, but it isn't attacking us
She'd better Forrest Gump herself to the next farm

::sigh:: See, this is why I don’t run. By the end of my run, I’d have named and adopted each and every one of them and be trying to figure out how we’d all fit in a 3BR/2Bth house. By next the next day we’d all be wearing matching outfits and I’d swear I’d been a shepherdess my entire life.
Clarification: I actually don’t run because I’m lazy. But if running would get me a heard of sheep, I’d consider it.

I mean... You'd have to return them. They most likely have identification. Sorry.

This is the start of a hallmark movie where she meets an angry old man who recently lost his wife and is being taken care of by his handsome son.

I) The human is running from danger, let us protecc teh human
II) The human is running from danger, let us run as well and the human will guide us to safety
III) The nice human is running for fun, let us run as well

I can't give you an 100% truthful answer for this instance, but i can draw a comparison to a local landscape conservation area that is reminiscent of the trail and woods in the clip. The Grove/woods is fenced in and you're free to walk and be there, and around the spring there are sheep and lamb just roaming around inside. Not uncommon for then to follow you around while you're there walking or jogging the trail.
My bad if this didn't make any sense at all as English obviously isn't my native language.

Sheep aren’t wild

u/just_a_person_maybe 9d ago
Many sheep are wild. These probably aren't, but wild sheep definitely exist.

You’re right, I should’ve said “these aren’t wild sheep” as both their species and the tagging indicates but it is true, there are wild sheep.

Call the gendarmerie (police in the countryside) and let them deal with it. They have the network to find the owner.

That happens all the time where I live. Just take a picture of the ear tag and put on a local Facebook page. Someone always knows where they belong 😄

If this is what happens when I cross paths in the wild…I’ll take it.

This reminds me of the scene in Forrest Gump when he turns around to his loyal group of runners and says “I’m pretty tired. I think I’ll go home now.” 🤣

Start calling farms and just ask "hey uh... Did you lose an entire flock of sheep by chance?"

She probably has food in the waist bag that she already fed the animals with, making them follow her for more. Perhaps, she is the true owner and has raised/cared for them from birth. She may have trained the animals to associate the colors she is wearing with food. THIS IS STAGED. PEOPLE WILL DO ANYTHING FOR SOCIAL MEDIA FAME. THE CAMERA PERSON KNEW HOW THE ANIMALS WOULD REACT AND WAS ALREADY POSITIONED IN PLACE FOR THE RECORDING😏😏😏😏😏

I've seen this video several times, in several places. No, it was not staged, these sheep actually belonged to a local farmer, and they did get lost while out grazing, and started following this jogger. Sheep aren't very intelligent animals, so I'm not sure why this is so implausible for you. The woman's name was never mentioned, so I'm not sure what kind of "fame" you think she attained. The farmer was able to come and retrieve his sheep a short time later.

Like really though, wtf do you do in this situation?? I know, "ha ha ha become a shepherd the sheep chose you!" But seriously, how do you deal with this? Try to look up the closest farm on your phone and run there? 😆
