It's one thing if you want to be on a machine that can kill you if you hit anything at all, but your pet doesn't know the risk. That's not cool.

99.92% of motorcycles are not involved in a fatal collision. Stop exaggerating and let people enjoy their lives.

Per vehicle miles traveled, motorcyclists are 22 times more likely than passenger vehicle occupants to die in a motor vehicle crash and were 4 times more likely to be injured. Motorcyclists account for 14% of all roadway fatalities despite being 3% of all vehicles on the road. Source: DOT, crashstats, national safety council
You hit a stick, a bump, a wet patch, another vehicle, an animal, go too fast (death wabble), road trash and you're getting fucked up or killed. 99.92% of those things hit in a car is going to be survived. Bringing an animal on a fast moving machine that's 22 times more likely to kill you is morally wrong.

Your stats are relative, not absolute. The fact remains: less than 1 in 1000 motorcycles will have a fatal accident. More than 40% of the ones that do, the rider's blood alcohol was over .08.
I can make relative stats too. This owner taking his dog on some sober rides in the summer, has a lower fatality chance than someone daily commuting with their car.
I have been riding for decades, and have hit thousands of pieces of debris, ride in the rain, ride off-road on dirt roads filled with loose rocks. Strangely enough none of those have made me fucked up or killed. You have no understanding of how stable a motorcycle is. Touch grass bud.

Even better: don't leave your home with your pets at all, you can be hit by a car after all. Be a responsible pet owner
