These are usually, “I’ve gotta poop” zoomies for my dog. She then does post poop “run away from the smell/5 lbs lighter” zoomies around the yard as fast as she can.

We had a horse years ago that would freak out and run away from his own farts. It was hilarious unless you were riding him at the time. xD

Have seen a horse get high powered farts before, it is hilarious. One little toot scares them, they jump a little, which pushes a bigger toot, which scares them more until they're full on run farting.
Really glad it didn't happen with me on it because I'm not experienced enough to buckle over laughing AND stay on the horse.

My Chihuahua let go on my lap when I was in my way to the airport, headed out of the country . I had to stop at a gas station, take off my clothes, wash off in the sink, put on clean clothes out of my suitcase. I threw away the stinky clothes because I couldn’t leave them in my suitcase or car. It’s the WORSE smell.

My dog had intestinal cancer and had diarrhea all over me on a 12 hour drive about six hours in. It was vile.
Threw everything away.

Yes. And on the way home he pooped on a blanket and when I lifted it up, I accidentally tipped it all over the front seat.

In one memorable case, it was due to our beagle trying to pass a hair. I have long hair, and somehow she managed to ingest one. She was running around with zoomies rubbing her but on every surface she could find because there was a poop caked hair hanging out of her backside. Poor baby.

My breeder wouldn't allow families to purchase high energy dogs with wooden/ smooth coated flooring due to the risk to hips and knees... this is somewhat why.

Trying to have zoomies on a slippery floor. You can use a trimmer to shave the fur between his paw pads to help with friction. This is how a lot of dogs end up with injuries to knees and hips.

Yes, it is zoomies. He just can't get good traction on the floor so he's compensating. He's very young too, and the way he started to chase his tail is a good indication he's a bit bored and reeeeally trying to let some energy out. These dogs were originally bred for hunting. Working dogs need a bit more physical activity through the day, double with this lil guy being a puppy

This it what happens when you breed too much overexcitement in to animals. Now we have dogs that get so excited it's just a lot for them to deal with. Golden retrievers are especially overbred like this. Sometimes they get so excited to see a person they just start peeing a little as they run up to the person in sheer joy.

My dog used to so this if he had a bit of poop dangling that he couldn't finish pushing out, like a long bit of grass or something. Check the dogs butt, she does seem a bit anxious to me.

If it only happens on hardwood floors then my guess is the dog knows it's back wheels are too slick for the speed so it's locking up the back wheels and going into "Big wheel" mode.

Hip displasia. Stuck in the Poop Position and can't recover. He looks happy but he's freaking out about it. Take him to a vet. I could be helped with an alignment but it could need surgery.
