I got in with 61k per year!!! I am crying my head off. Midd is my dream for 2 years. I am an International student applying for aid —— get 3 waitlist and 1 rejection this morning. No one from my city got in Midd before. This is a miracle for my family! Today is so dramatic, I was down the whole day before this.
But it seems that dream do come true. Best luck for you all!!

I don't know what they are looking for considering the average SAT score for admitted students is in the 1400s

Decisions come out tomorrow morning at 8am EST!!!! I honestly don't feel that confident about this one for some reason. its probably because i heard that they only accept like 5% of rd applicants but i could just be tweaking!

I hope I'm misinterpreting this article, which says that RD is <1%
https://toptieradmissions.com/middlebury-college-acceptance-rate/
Essentially, it's saying that there were 11,971 applicants, 630 spots, 514 of which were filled in ED1&2
Meaning that for class of 2027, 11,971 people fought for 114 spots, which is 0.95%

theres also a lot of kids who reject their spot, so even though the overall yield rate is ~50%, that's including the 100% yield rate for questbridge and ed students. so they basically accept about 700 kids rd, and the rd yield rate is about 15%
edit: they also have febs, and i don't think that febs are factored into the yield rate, but there are around 3000 students at Middlebury

There are 2700 overall including Febs. They like to have about 2480 - 2520 on campus each semester so Febs fill in for Juniors going abroad

Did everyone's "withdraw" option disappear?

u/No-Presentation-1596 22d ago
prob because it’s so close to the release date that withdrawing now would be inconvenient/pointless. most colleges have deadlines for when you can withdraw your application, usually a few days- a week before the deadline

100% true. Not all, but specifically the “bros” as he also called them.

If you've finished the application process and have 15 minutes, take the 2025 A2C Census!
