Personally my theory is, and hear me out here, zaunites dying their hair blue is somehow connected to Jinx's hair being blue.

it means that instead of showing everyone with different colored blood based on if they’re the villain or the good guy, the writers decided to change it up so everyone has red blood, a subtle decision that shows they’re all just people and not robots because mechanics in arcane only bleed green and if any of the characters bled green it would mean thyre a robot and therefore the villain (smeech for example, the writers gave him green blood to show he is the only truly unredeemable soul and the only true evil that exists in the universe of arcane)
