I know he meant a great deal to a whole lot of people - which I think speaks volumes. Thank you!

I just finished rewatching all of Parts Unknown then I cried all through his documentary haha.

Now I'm killing No Reservations. I didn't remember that he got to meet so many other people / icons that I love. Such a great guy.

Once he's done beating the shit out of Henry Kissinger I hope he looks down from heaven at this piece and smiles

Thank you for the comment! And absolutely, I admired his willingness to call out injustices without hesitation. I hope he's found peace.

This is so beautiful ❤️

What kind of paper do you prefer for mixed media? I’ve been trying to mix ink and colored pencils but the results have been 😳

I use and love the Crescent illustration boards. I haven’t tried mixing ink and colored pencils but I imagine they’d work out just fine! You can also try playing around with the surface by putting a layer of gesso or acrylic paint down before working, although I’m not entirely sure how that will impact the ink’s drying time, but it’d be fun to mess around with for sure!

I often struggle with skin tones so this comment makes me happy. Thank you!

Lol thought this was Jeffery Epstein before I read the title. Not saying this is a bad portrait, its quite good. I just haven't seen a lot of anthony bourdain

Great portrait. I worked on Parts Unknown (in the control room play out of the show) and losing him was hard for me. Looking at this picture I can hear his voice.

This isn't even a thirst trap. What is it doing in r/art?
