UPDATED WORK do you guys prefer the sprinkle texture or no?
I bought the digital texture pack with these sprinkles and I want to try them out.
This is a digital art pattern design inspired by old taiwanese drama (kind of like the Mandarin version of Telenovela) where the women are always crying and in distressed😭.

UPDATED WORK Should I bring the figure's robe all the way to the bottom of the canvas or just let it float
I have been going back and forth with this and at this point i think i need an objective opinion.
Should I bring the figure's robe all the way to the bottom of the canvas or just let it float?

UPDATED WORK Is this that unappealing? just got rejected at an auction with the reason that it wouldnt appeal to any of their bidders, according to their expertise and knowledge of the market. Unstretched canvas.

UPDATED WORK Why does this look „fake“ Update
I tried a second time with another Sargent Painting and I think this time it looks way less „fake“ and is overall just more pleasing to look at.
I tried implementing all the tips I received (especially focusing an texture) and even though there is of course still a lot to improve upon, I am actually quite proud of the result.
Thanks again for the helpful and supportive feedback!
And of course further feedback is always welcome.

UPDATED WORK How did I digitally render straight hair (fine thickness)? From newest to oldest (For comics, stylized)
It goes in each image from oldest (left) to newest (right), but it is newest to oldest per image.

UPDATED WORK UPDATE
This is an update to a post I made a while ago, thanks so much for the feedback, the armor looks much better. This drawing is already posted on social media so I won’t be making any more revisions but please feel free to critique it if you still have feedback. Thanks!

UPDATED WORK Ok so I tried to make the water actually look like water, but I can’t decided what water color I should use.
Unfortunately in my infinite wisdom, I decided to add more to the green water(?) version, hence why it looks a tad uhh, different. Also yes is being done in Procreate, the original sketch is on the last slide.

UPDATED WORK Update: Thank you everyone who offered critique! Fixed is the first pic and the oiginal piece is the second pic
The edits I made are bigger mouth, smaller head, adjustment to facial contours (nose and jaw), redesigned the inner ear and neck lines, the way the light hits the face (with higher contrast shadows), more saturated shadows in general so they're complementary with the suit, color "reflecting" onto the white shirt, pushed the yellow highlights so you can actually see them, and I changed the background so it doesn't wash out/overpower the focus. Everyone who responded is a lifesaver 🙏
