What you’re doing wrong is you don’t have a brilliant cut grinder, I had the flower mill and hated it. Just smashed my flower to shit and was never consistent for me. I never used it again
Are you picking the stems out of your flower that helps for me and make sure you’re giving it firm pressure but not too much, I’ve have no issues with mine
Don't press too hard. Use short back and forth movements with just light downward pressure.
You can almost feel the flower break apart and the lid will lower as that happens.
All of that smearing and gunk is from pressing too hard. That stuff is just going to exacerbate your problem and disappoint you further. So, keep it clean!
Awesome I will try this when I get home tonight. Maybe it was just it being dirty because it worked the first few times much better. I’ll clean it and try again thanks for the advice!
Not brushing after grinding or soaking occasionally in cleaning alcohol. I do mine every three months or so, takes the grind out of grinding with the teeth being clean and gunk free.
Flower mills don't actually grind the bud with sharp teeth, it kinda smashes the nugs through a metal grater. I've been back and forth on these grinders, too many mixed reviews for me to purchase one. I swear half the people say it's the best way to "grind" your bud, and others saying it doesn't work well and has metal shavings issue.
Shitty design. Proper doinks advocates for Santa Cruz shredder and these too but they’re trash.
Space case is the best grinders ever made. They are perfect and teeth are so sharp. High quality screen too. Buttery smooth with o ring and made with space grade aluminum. Had mine for over 10 years
Oh man I remember being in college when the space cases were getting big. I wanted one so bad but couldn't stomach the cost being a broke college student. My wife got me an Aroma 2 grinder by old Mates designs for Xmas, love it so much a huge upgrade over my aluminum 4peice Santa cruz shredder (not talking shit, that grinder lasted me almost a decade too).
Medium 4 piece off Amazon was only 59.99$ when I first bought it, they almost tripled in price through the years. Buy quality and never have to buy another grinder again
My favourite, and longest lasting, two grinders are cheapies from Amazon, and they weren't any of the branded ones. They've lasted through 3-4 years of daily use. The main thing is to keep them clean so they're easy to use.
