Pfft Victoria is for amateurs. Hardcore Gs know the thrill of the Euston platform announcement.

You freak, Euston is the most disgusting mainline train station in London

Only the strongest can survive in the harshest of conditions.
You merely adopted the railway. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn't see an empty seat until I was already a man.

As a woman, I don't have a train preference as long as it gets me there on time.

u/Doesitalwayshavetobe 1d ago
Pfff….romance is dead among passengers these days.

u/TN17 1d ago
So it's a bit shamey to judge women based on their trains. It's more about what's inside and if you could still see yourself going for a ride when she's older.

Meh, it's a journey. If you're timing it, it's not as good. Take your time and enjoy all the bumps and shakes.

Spoken like somebody who’s never had to depend on Deutsche Bahn to get anywhere. I envy you.

I'm personally a fan of steam powered locomotives. Old school I know but there's something so sexy about the classic design and function.

I'll have to go with the Japanese models. They are so sleek and the vast majority of the time punctual.
41
u/2Scarhand 1d ago
I've heard nothing but good things about Japanese trains. The worst I've ever heard was "this aspect was mediocre" which is leagues above anything in the US.

Rail travel in Japan is awesome. I've ridden the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Hiroshima and back, and ridden suburban trains around Tokyo and Osaka. The trains are always on time and always clean. A+ Highly Recommended.

Have to say either 3:10 to Yuma or Snowpiercer. Orient Express for a dame. Pelham 123 for urbanistic lady.

IDK about you, but this beauty pageant from 2007 have it in spades:
I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, um, some people out there in our nation don't have maps and, uh, I believe that our, uh, education like such as, uh, South Africa and, uh, the Iraq and everywhere like such as, and I believe that they should, uh, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., uh, should help South Africa and should help Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future.

Until you see there's 5 people tied to the tracks before you.
You may change the route, but then there's another person on the other track.

Orient Express is a classic.
Though if you're into new models, the Chinese are making a beautiful bullet train.

Literally just jumped off a train shunting iron ore in the Pilbara - quite nice to operate these general-electric locos...

I don't care which model it is, as long as it's made out of Lego. The old sets are nostalgic, the newer ones are pretty sleek, and the customs people have made will blow your mind with the detail level. Bonus points if it's motorized!

LNER Class A4 4468 Mallard the fastest steam locomotive ever built. Instant turn on for me.

Not even kidding if a girl had the right trains and the right kind of guy whos into them, it would really up her game.

I knew a guy who was obsessed with antique trains, cars, and clocks. He was a bit autistic but knew more about old machinery than anyone I’ve ever met

u/Ok-Rate-3256 1d ago
Yea listening to people that know a lot about stuff like that is pretty impressive. Its like man how the hell do you remember all that.

As long as she’s into N gauge and isn’t a HO girl she’s ok in my book. Twice the size is not twice as fun

u/EbonyHelicoidalRhino 1d ago
Honestly I'll find any woman who have her own train at home quite attractive
7
u/TisIChenoir 1d ago
I am french, so I always will be very partial to any TGV-having girl.
. But if she had a Shinkansen I wouldn't say no either.
But, I feel it should be said, my life is pretty much well set on its tracks, so I'm not interested in STR (Short Train Relationship). I'm in for the long haul.
