PSA on moonrise Spoiler

In case it somehow hasn’t been found yet, you can kill the myrkul lady and necromites at the top of the tower before fighting ketheric. Obviously it’s important to do this before entering the main hall triggering the ketheric cutscene. There’s some scaffolding around the side of the tier below that you can jump to (high str or jump spell) and from there cast fly on your party to reach the top. Then kill everything up there.

Also it’s more widely known, but you can do the same with Gortash. Climb the top of wyrms rock and kill the steel watch and bane cultists before meeting him at the coronation, then destroy the little wall device things to make the fight laughably easy.

Edit: it doesn’t make anyone hostile in either instance

I found this out on my last playthrough and was absolutely ecstatic. The additional enemies in that fight are so annoying. It's cool to hop down a level and speak with the winged horrors too.

On my current run, I thought I would do something nice for them. After the Isobel kidnapping attempt, I grabbed one of the dead horrors and took it to the ones at the top of moonrise Sadly, they were not interested in the meat I brought them. 😕

Yeah, I was just so upset, I had to let them know I was a little peckish myself. All of a sudden, they had places to be. I swear, no manners what so ever. 😤🤣🤣

You can also do it after the Ketheric scene, you just have to be more careful about letting the Necromites come to you. You can kill the necromancer and the Necromites without aggroing Ketheric as long you don't go beyond the stairs next to the door you enter the roof from

PSA: you can drag the necromite pods into each other, destroying both without using an action.

I have to admit I enjoy the chaos of the Gortash office fight when there are grenades everywhere. I like when all the furniture gets blown up.

I did this on my first honor mode run, having previously done so on regular tactician with no issues. Proceeded to murder all the guards upstairs (as I had done before) which then aggro’d Ketheric through the floor while he was still immortal and I wound up dripping in sweat while desperately sprinting my entire team to the furthest corner I could manage and fleeing combat.

Missed every Moonrise tower interaction as a result, but did manage to stealth Astarion in to meet Araj for that encounter + pick pocketing all her good loot lol

I killed that necromancer lady(her body was on the ground)and she still appeared in the fight. Still carried the same weapon too so I just doubled up on them.
