Raven and beast boy weren’t a thing in the cartoon. Idk y everybody assumed they were. She laughed at one or two of his jokes, but otherwise didn’t get along with him. Raven definitely shared more chemistry with cyborg.
I watched a YouTube video about it, Raven actually had the most screen time and had a visible attraction to Robin. People have been on the beast boy/Robin train mainly for the potential and the character arc that everyone imagines would happen, and it's not hard to see since almost any TT fan have their own take on what that relationship would be like, how it could come to be, how it would develop, the problems, the long term goals and nearly everything. They never interacted much, but they always seemed like they should, they would compliment eachother very well
