My boss’s wife left him for another woman and their company went bankrupt so naturally he bought a super car.

He once complained that he got it to pick up women but the only people that approached him were middle aged men.

My dad made this comment. As long as I could remember, he wanted a Corvette. In his 60s, he finally got a used one and fixed it up. He didn't plan to pick up any women, but he clearly wanted attention from them. He complained a lot that the only attention he got was from men his age. I was laughing pretty hard.

Years later, I bought my husband a convertible Mercedes coupe. Yeah, everyone who stopped to look and comment was a middle aged man except one time at a drive through. Still a dude, but a teenager. Hahaha
