That poor cat. The litter box was really rough thank you for making a nicer environment for the kitty!

Fixated on that litterbox and that poor cat. Almost glad to hear there’s no cat there.

I fixated on the bunk beds

Meaning children involved, no sheets, next to a moldy wall, with no toys in sight. Thank you OP for doing this for them but damn, this is beyond depression

There's also some pretty obvious water damage on the walls. I'm hoping There's not mold but it's highly likely and those poor babies are breathing it in...

There’s definitely mold. I’m really worried about that.

My thoughts exactly. First I was like: damn, the poor cat. And then I saw the bunk bed. I suffer from depression too but if I were in a situation where others (especially minors) relied on me, I'd get help asap. This is a horrifying place to live in.

I agree. This is no condition for children to be living in. I know the mother has depression and I feel bad for her not angry really. She needs help and she’s clearly not getting it. Children should not be forced to live in those conditions. I really hope someone is doing something for her and she can get the help she needs.

this is child abuse

You got downvoted but I don’t understand why. Yes this is abuse. Kids don’t ask to be here. Making them live in a filthy, mold-infested home while you lay around and don’t get help is terrible. I know how awful depression is, but when you bring kids into the mix they come before whatever you’re dealing with.

There is no beyond depression this is just a form depression, just because this is a form depression unseen to you doesn't mean it's not depression.

those poor children too - there is presence of children as well

Omg I was thinking the same thing. If owner can’t take care of herself and home how does she take care of the cat?!

While I do absolutely love cats, I have two, how is she taking care of the human children. Cats are much less demanding than that to care for and it was terribly neglected.

OP keeps saying “no cat”… so it was the humans using a tub of cat litter??

Poor cat? There's a bunk bed and stuffed animals in there. Poor damn kids.

As someone who has owned multiple cats and litter boxes it’s a litter box. Google High Wall Litterbox and you’ll see a ton of options

i currently have 4 cats and 2 of 4 of the litterboxes are high walled. that is a plastic bucket. furthermore, theres not even cat litter in there.

-2

u/curtcolt95 23d ago

all the examples I see online have a lower part for the cat to easily get in. I'm pretty sure that's just a basket

u/imisscrazylenny 23d ago

There are top entry, high-walled litter boxes. I had to get one recently because my orange boy is obsessed with pawing the litter up over the lip of the box. Problem solved.

It’s not a litter box, but it is a box filled with used cat litter.

No. It’s not cigarettes. Zoom in. It’s cat poop.

4

u/PeaceCertain2929 22d ago

I zoomed in. I see cat litter. You don’t need to have a cat to have old cat litter. Just watch any episode of hoarders lol

That entire room was the liter box. Look around.

2

u/No_Window644 19d ago

Ummm those poor children, as well, lol. I hope they're not living with this person and with another family member
