Meaning children involved, no sheets, next to a moldy wall, with no toys in sight. Thank you OP for doing this for them but damn, this is beyond depression
There's also some pretty obvious water damage on the walls. I'm hoping There's not mold but it's highly likely and those poor babies are breathing it in...
My thoughts exactly. First I was like: damn, the poor cat. And then I saw the bunk bed. I suffer from depression too but if I were in a situation where others (especially minors) relied on me, I'd get help asap. This is a horrifying place to live in.
I agree. This is no condition for children to be living in. I know the mother has depression and I feel bad for her not angry really. She needs help and she’s clearly not getting it. Children should not be forced to live in those conditions. I really hope someone is doing something for her and she can get the help she needs.
You got downvoted but I don’t understand why. Yes this is abuse. Kids don’t ask to be here. Making them live in a filthy, mold-infested home while you lay around and don’t get help is terrible. I know how awful depression is, but when you bring kids into the mix they come before whatever you’re dealing with.
While I do absolutely love cats, I have two, how is she taking care of the human children. Cats are much less demanding than that to care for and it was terribly neglected.
There are top entry, high-walled litter boxes. I had to get one recently because my orange boy is obsessed with pawing the litter up over the lip of the box. Problem solved.
