In this thread, Redditors once again insist that any activity that brings joy and excitement is too dangerous to contemplate. Everyone should just stay locked up in their dark rooms to avoid any possible risk and spend their time arguing with people on the internet, like them.

Yeah, I’ve done some reasonably dangerous ocean swims in my day. Not speaking from ignorance. That dude was taking big risk with his kid. The ocean is an unforgiving bitch
