I wish I could personally slaughter a lamb with my own hands to eat their flesh while they desperately drown in their own blood.
Do you feel happier? That's what you wanted to hear? You thought you made a point but surprise surprise, everybody knows how life works. You aren't teaching anyone anything.
You remind me of the Southpark episode where everyone is lapping up and huffing their own farts and loving it. Just came to mind reading your comments....
At some point in my teens i started to realized that eating something that used to be a living being is kinda weird, but I keep eating meat because it is only weird by human standards. Humans are just animals. Animals eat other animals, that is just how it works.
Ideally we could work towards avoiding slaughtering animals, but my personal choices have exactly 0 impact on it. Having Mufasa teach me about the circle of life seems to be more productive than changing my lifestyle for the sake of a morale ideal that does not exist in the real world.
Not to mention that plants are also living beings, so what are our options really? Eating rocks? It seems hypocritical to be fine with eating plants and not animals just because their level of consciousness appears closer to ours from our perspective. While in reality, they are just another form of life that is just as worthy to exist as ours.
Anyone else noticed how vegans are only friends with other vegans? It's like they're insufferable losers that nobody wants to associate with or something. Not eating meat to protest the treatment of livestock doesn't offset your shitty behavior.
