"The largest confirmed saltwater crocodile on record, named Lolong, measured 20 feet 3 inches (6.17 meters) long and weighed 2,370 pounds (1,075 kilograms)."

Biggish, I suppose....

Like a true nightmare the villagers insisted Lolong is the smaller one of the duo terrorizing the village.

Lol. Like if they got out the tape measure that time

One of them said it was longer than his house. Granted it was a floating raft house of sorts but that's the closest they can get to measuring it.

Oh ok. I take it back. Respect to them... any living thing longer than my dwelling would have to count as fucking huge to me too...

I'm scared for the people in and above the water. There's not enough distance between them and the modern dinosaur

2

u/Rosiemae62 1d ago

I hope they fed that dinosaur before letting him out!

u/Bill_Nye_1955 1d ago

interesting fact:: salt water crocodiles can survive just as well in fresh water as they are in salt water, which is a remarkable adaptation

1

u/Ok-Pomegranate858 1d ago

What do they eat? And don't tell me 'whatever they want'

2

u/Street_Classroom1271 1d ago

Disgusting! How long until humans realize getting these wild animals locked up for others to watch is a fucked up thing to do?
