I don't think I would've answered two months right off the bat. Every day seems to bring more drama. I really don't see how we are going to make it a four year term without some sort of catastrophic event.

I’ve been thinking a lot about this! People are to angry and getting angrier everyday, there are more and more outrageous, stunts and none of them care about innocent people being thrown to the wolves in a Venezuelan mega prison! The lies are outlandish and obvious! The rhetoric is more sensational (Trump , while touting the two wins in Florida yesterday, referred to the democrats as evil!) everyday! All of this energy and momentum is bound to end disastrously!!! There is no way to avoid it! I’m just not sure what the flashpoint will be!

That's the thing, but I think around the two year mark is when things will begin to look serious. All the new policies or laws that have been changed will have matured to where we will feel the full punch of what they've done. Musk was stupid enough to think that Trump was letting him help trim government spending, but the reality is Musk will be the fall guy. In Trump's head, finger pointing at Musk will absolve him of blame. It's completely ridiculous if in fact true. It will be revealed at some point, many years down the road (9/11 years) that Trump took was also a fall guy.

Both republicans won which was expected. District 1 which was ‘Matt Gaetz’s old district is one of the reddest in the state! However the margins were much thinner than anyone expected and Pensacola actually flipped blue! The last time that happened was when Kennedy was in the White House ! Long story short two areas that Trump decimated Harris in the presidential election were far too close for comfort! Trust me that never happens here! So a win yes but not the victory that MAGA was hoping for! I think they are slightly worried at this point, they made Elise Stefanik give up her bid for NATO ambassador so she could keep her republican seat in NY state! They’re worried! And you’re right nothing good comes from fl anymore!

Wow. I remember reading about Stefanik but I don't think I put it together why. It's sucks that it's going to have to be completely terrible to wake up to what we are going through. Personally, I can handle a sensible Republican President just as much as a Democrat. Just not him, not now or never again. I see he's floating that third term bullshit because he says he found a way. I cannot think of any way other way than by force.

Yes, I think by the time we get to that there will have so many lines crossed it will hardly seem to register. Frankly, the way they are disappearing people off the streets without due process is chilling! I have zero problems with violent and illegal persons being deported but only legally. Two wrongs don’t make a right! The way this is happening with barely any challenge is disturbing and (I think) designed to quite decent! If these sorts of things continue to escalate there will probably be little opposition. Let’s hope that is not the course we take! I do see glints of hope so it isn’t set in stone but it will be a roller coaster ride!
