Question Did I just fuck up my eighth?
I should have done my googling before, not after, I've learned that now. But I just threw an eighth of sugar wax into some boiling water with butter to make edibles- without decarbing it. Did I just fuck my eighth up? or am I going to have some very low dosage boys?

It depends on the wax, do you still have the label? Sometimes part or all of it has been converted to D9 so it would be active without further decarbing

I do have the label what should I look for?

Look for the percentage of THCa vs D9 THC

More d9 the better right?

Yep! The d9 is the psychoactive ingredient so if that's high, you're good to go. If not, not all is lost. What are you baking? It's possible that you could cook it on a lower heat for a longer amount of time, that way you'd decarb it further but not evaporate off all the good stuff

Yea I’d probably bake it into something to try and activate it and salvage whatever’s left.

Decarbing can be done in butter. Its just going to take a lot longer. I'd boil it for a few hours and you're probably good. People have been making butter without decarbing. Is it the bees knees? Maybe not, but it should be good either way.

Was the butter added to the water? Or did you boil water and heat the butter in a dish, in the water?
Easy to fix

Boiled together I made it the same way I make edibles with flowers still kind of new to fucking with concentrates

I have done the put in a Mason jar and left on low or medium and come back days later for it. Slow infusions are a thing but you threw the butter wax into water?

Might have been a little confusing in my post but it was water, butter, and wax

Bake with it
