Whole Melts

Plug has $100/oz of ‘whole melts live resin sugar’. The price point has me excited and skeptical. I used to live in a legal state but that is no longer the case unfortunately. I’ve never heard of whole melts so if anyone is familiar with the brand or has tried it themselves I’d really appreciate the knowledge. Thanks in advance!

It is not good, very harsh and didnt taste right. The brand is black market and CRC the fuck out there wax

Id probably avoid anything under a more reasonable price point per ounce, honestly. The cheap shit should just be made into edibles.

Edit: That being said, when I say things like that, this sub gets angry lol, they like dabbing their boof.

Personally I’d rather spend more than less long as it gives me peace of mind that I’m not ingesting poison. The cheap shit can be for someone else lol. But when I got told about this I had to hear from others, I’ve never seen any concentrate so damn cheap, but it’s not concentrate, just poison 😂

considering full melt is a term for high quality hash and they're trying to call live resin "whole melts"

comes off as a complete dumbass trying to sound clever.

I’ve gotten whole melts and it’s never been good. Some of the worst bm I’ve gotten. Same with that DAB brand that looks like the gap logo.

I had a great couple of ozs of whole melts, I have had 2 bad ones as well

It’s all about whatever the dude who ordered the fake jars for branding decided to put in there lol

Really never know so unless they are willing to let you smoke a few dabs of the jar you are buying then I wouldn’t purchase (ps: they won’t let you do that)

My buddy used to carry these, I took one dab and decided it wasn’t for me. The Pineapple Express tasted like pineapple candy in a way that a real cannabis product should not. Also ripped my throat up. Don’t waste the $100.

Have you never sampled the pineapple jack phenotype (called princess) that Brothers Grimm found in Amsterdam? It tastes super artificial, like a pineapple candy. My buddy was one of their genetics testers and got all of their different cuts. He even bred his BTK Kush with their Princess 75 x LA confidential.

Not specifically tasted that no, but I highly doubt anyone selling ounces of dabs for $100 is sourcing starting material like that.

It’s hard to trust a pound box of dabs that is being sold for profit at $100-$150 an ounce. It just throws up red flags. Dabs that taste like candy and nothing else even remotely weed related are a hard no for me unless I see some provenance regarding their authenticity.

Damn, you really have shit connections.

In 2012, I was getting pounds of pineapple jack live for $1200, and the greenhouse flower was $400. Pounds of different jealousy cross live resins are around $800-1k in my area now, and outs are $250, greenhouse units are $400-600, and ins are $600-800. Solvent based live resins are crazy cheap here compared to flowers because the demand has dropped.

It’s locational. I’m in a state that’s newly legal (compared to some places) and still has a high demand for solvent based concentrates. I tend to hit the mark of quality I’m looking for around $200 an ounce here but have paid more in the past (although it used to be $400-$600) - I don’t buy pounds the guys I get it from do so that’s part of the difference. I can get good quality greenhouse flower around $500 but I’m less interested in smoking that.

The main thing is I could get stuff like you’re talking about maybe not as low prices but it’s there; I just don’t do the whole packs in the mail thing and barring home growers who do it right, what’s available in my state is GARBAGE 🤣

I dislike them. I don’t get the hype. Worth trying tho

It leaves behind plant matter. Not an oil, hence “full melt”. Maybe there is slightly more flavor but it’s not much. To me. It’s basically kief but 🤏🏼 better.
