Car Meme What would be the SUV equivalent of a Nissan Altima driver?

I've heard some say a Kia Telluride.

[Edit!: I should’ve clarified that I meant the SUV equivalent of the Nissan Altima driver stereotype. If that’s already how some of you interpreted my question, thank you]

Car Meme I wonder how many people have done donuts in a Ford model T

That’s all. I can’t find much evidence of people doing this. Logically it wouldn’t be feasible on pavement, so I’m not seeking that.

Car Meme V8 swap a civic?

Not sure what to tag this post so I tagged it as a meme, I've seen older civics V8 swapped such as hatchbacks and that and I am considering swapping a 2017-2019 hatchback Civic to V8 I just wanted other people's feedback on it I know it's going to take a hell of a lot of fabrication and some extensive work but I feel like it would be pretty sick and yes I know the whole thing about civics are front wheel drive I would obviously be swapping it to a rear wheel drive Civic which I've always wanted one anyways so I don't see that as a negative

Car Meme Real Talk: how do you convince/explain somebody the love for cars?

For most, a car is a metal box that burns a dinosaur juice (rest are microwaves) and that is it.

How can you explain to someone who cares less about cars than a plastic bag that cars have a soul?

Car Meme As a 19 year old I love too drive my car. A 2001 jaguar xk8. It's probably one of most enjoyable things I've experienced in the last year. But why can't so many people drive properly or use their cars abilities to the best potential for enjoyment and safety.

Since my car is a sports car I like to Accelerate fast and use the nimble handling alot. I have noticed so many people who do not drive there car the way it was made to drive. Why is this? Does nobody want to be an Enthusiast anymore?

Car Meme the fact that American cars moving to electric cars is the saddest

Well sadly we won't see any more internal combustion engines in general from all different countries but I think it's really sad that specifically American cars that usually never thought too much about gas usage and added as many cylinders as they could

For me, that is what I think when I first hear "American car" a bigass engine with as many cylinders with a supercharger with a really loud noise (a beautiful one of course) without considering much about the gas usage or aerodynamics like we are Americans why would we think too much about this bullshit just ADD MORE POWER BABY (it is just a joke no offense to any American)

So watching Dodge Charger and Challenger, Chevrolet Camaro and Corvette and Ford Mustang go electric is like watching your favorite pornstar go trans

But you know what is so funny about this?

the fact that there is no more Dodge Viper so you don't watch the Viper go electric

Edit : my problem isn't about the electric cars it's progress as you say but my problem is with the cars that are going electric like why can't you just discontinue the old car and then make a whole another different car and make it electric, Just end the legend as a legend, and then do whatever you want

Car Meme Can vans be cool again?

Vans of all sorts have been vilified recently, which is understandable, but I feel like they're underrated and truly the Swiss army knife of vehicles. I work in home renovation and also love a useful vehicle but have hesitated to buy a van as a daily simply because of the stigmas and negative views. I'd love to turn a Chrysler town and country limited, honda oddessy, ect, into a do all luxury tourer that I can throw some tools in when needed. Or even a v8 full size with some cam chop and nice wheels and an aggressive stance to load up some doors and trim during the week and use as a camper on weekend getaways. I have a weird liking to ford modular v8s and the fact that they kept the old style vans going for so many years. I'd love an e350 done up they sound great with cams, and do well with a good tune and some reliability upgrades. Who's done it and what are your thoughts on beating the stigmas and hate?

Car Meme All cars now put out the amount of horsepower equal to the remaining fuel range. Assuming a full tank, what are the new budget supercars under $50k?

Honorable mention goes to that teardrop shaped Vw that drove across country on two tanks of gas.

Car Meme I come before you a very stupid person

I was looking up something not Pontiac related on YouTube. And on the sidebar of recommended videos a title caught my eye. “2025 Pontiac GTO Finally Revealed: The Ultimate Modern Muscle Car”. I was in disbelief. My affordable dream car is a 2005 Pontiac gto. I had heard no gossip that they were bringing back the GTO! Right out of the gate I notice that the voice over is AI as I hear it tell me how much torque the base models turbo charged four cylinder puts out. I think “weird that they didn’t do a real VO”. Then it dawns on me. They haven’t made Pontiac’s in 15 fucking years. The channel has 7 subscribers. I’ve been fucking had. I feel stupid. I feel crushed.
