Won't count any ballots that arrive after election day no matter the posted date. That's going to void most overseas military members ballots before they can be counted.

A lot of the military in my experience rolls pretty blue. Especially in the Navy.

Of my like 8 close friends from the military only one votes red, when you get to experience socialized healthcare and housing it makes you think a lot about our politics.

Them fucking over military voters seems like a win for the GOP in my opinion

Not if the military quits and lends their expertise to resistance operations.

These fuckers really are playing 2D chess.

It's why I'm trying to get to know who my local NG people are; I'm like half a block from an armory. Honestly it always seems like I'm within a few blocks of a NG armory no matter where I live in Oregon.

They really have no idea just what it would entail to truly "annex" the region; there are reasons why everyone dies a bunch of times before completing The Oregon Trail game.

I mean, the military, NASA, literally EVERYONE sends their troops here to train all over the state and in the ocean.

But we live here.

I guess it's not time to stop calling my "officials".

Soon, I'm just going to need to host weekly house parties where we cook a meal, play horseshoes in the backyard and call bureaucrats with the same agreed upon list of grievances

Call parties seem like a pretty great idea - I'm gonna feel out my Meetup groups to see if anyone wants to make an event.

We used to meet up at a house on Portland and have a couple beers and go to City Hall meetings.

After a while, the cops started following us home and harassing us.

Calling seemed easier.

Washington’s Attorney General has already said “No, we’ll run our elections how we want, as is our purview re: The United States Constitution. https://www.chronline.com/stories/state-attorney-general-responds-to-trumps-order-forcing-major-changes-to-washingtons-elections,377574#

I'm so glad we have a strong blue government in WA.

Pretty sure this affects Washington, too, as we also have mail-in ballots.

It doesn’t, because POTUS has zero authority to do this, and no state is required to follow this executive order.

Those dipshits in charge want it both ways.
"Education? Better handled by the states."
"Voting? States don't know what they are doing. Feds should handle all those rules."

Fucking clown shoes.

It's logically consistent if you view it from the true policy goal of "privatize everything and make off with the cash"

They only have as much power as we allow them to have. If you are not a member of a resistance group yet, find one and join it
