My weird Rosary
Hello everyone. I would love to hear your opinions on this. I saw some videos about Rosaries that don't have "INRI" above the Lord's head and it spooked me. People in videos said that these rosaries are "satanic" and are being used to hoax Christians. I was given this Rosary when I was maybe 2 years old by a nun and it's been with me my whole life but I never paid attention to this until recently. This looks like a branch with thorns and something across it. Are you familiar with Rosaries like mine? It is over 30 years old so that's why it looks this way plus when I was a kid I accidentally melted it on a candle 🤭

Very popular back then when I was a child and even now I still use one of them as my daily rosary.

There's no strict rule that the INRI has to be present on a crucifix. If it was given to you by a nun then it was almost certainly sourced from a catholic supplier too so I wouldn't worry about it. You can't be "hoaxed" or "tricked" into doing something satanic. At the end of the day it's just plastic, the value comes from the grace you get dwelling upon the mysteries and on Christs sacrifice, the object is just a reminder and an aid

You might want to get rid of it https://www.churchpop.com/filipino-exorcist-warns-against-satanic-rosaries-but-should-you-really-worry/

That one looks exactly like mine. My concern is also, one night I slept with this rosary wrapped around my wrist and I had a sleep paralysis that night and saw black figure standing next to my bed and I could feel the presence

I mean that’s not proof of anything if you have sleep paralysis on other nights. If a nun gave it to you most likely it is fine. However if it’s really really bothering you go ask your local priest. He will help you out. I don’t know how seriously I’d take a site call Catholic pop especially when they are suspicious of the claim in the article as well.

That was the first time I experienced sleep paralysis and yes, I agree it's not a proof of anything. I think that all together just got to my head a little bit

It is an strange looking rosary. It is also odd that the head of the crucified man (who is supposed to be Jesus) looks like a ball with no details at all. I have several rosaries and Jesus' head can be seen, even if it is not very detailed due to the small size.
For example, Jesus' eyes can be seen as small lines although the details are not clear due to the small size. But the head does not look like the one you have. The hands and body also have no details at all. I am not sure about what you have, but the crucifix on your rosary is very strange looking.
I think that the articles linked below may help you discern whether what you have is a genuine rosary and what to do if it is not genuine.

It's just a cheap plastic rosary from the 80s, that's why there's no detail, it glows in the dark so was probably meant for children
No need for these bizzare conspiracies

That’s a satanic rosary it appears. If you look closely you can see the snake above the head of the figure. Highly recommend trashing it

I don’t believe any rosaries are satanic. But it does look like it glows in the dark.
