The only set of blinds in my house that HASN'T had at least one slat broken from my little bastards is the only one they can't reach 🤦

I’ve had my cats a year and they have tore 7 or 8 slats and chewed the plastic ends of the draw strings

Fyi people have had freak accidents where the cat strangled on window blind cords. I don’t take any chances and tie them and tie them up high that there is no loop for the kitties to get in between in any way. Its true when they say cats have staff...!

My boy climbed blinds like a ladder, destroying them in the process, just so he could get a slightly better view out the bathroom window. I replaced it with a solid piece window blind.

The window over my bed is always a least a bit open, but I keep my blinds down and closed against the light. Both my cats have muscled their way into the window in one spot enough that eight or so of the edges have snapped at the string and I'm just like oh well haha

Well, they have to get onto the window sill somehow, and the darn blinds are in the way. I ended up buying the more costly extra-thick blinds for this very reason. Too many cheapo sets have been destroyed over the years.
