My brain got the title of this post and subreddit mixed up and for a split second I thought it said "girlfriends who yell".
But this is a girlfriend who meows and a cat who yells lol.

I didn’t expect intense philosophical discussion how close are our pets to us? As they sleep in our beds, clammed for food, and even speak to us? (As this well spoken cat proves) but in reality how close are we to becoming them?

As a teen I babysat a cat who would just chill in the bushes when I came by to check on him.
Freaked me out the first time I heard him MOW just like that.
