I think kitty is just annoyed and kind of ready to attack lol.

Their pupils expand quite a bit during attack mode!

Tripping balls was my first thought, but people seem really wholesome on this sub, so I toned it down. There was a post of a cat with its head between two pieces of bread and no one made the obvious eating pussy joke!

I AM an old lady! I have 6 cats and I find pussy jokes very funny. I'm 57 years old on the outside and 12 on the inside!

I've found that black cats tend to keep their pupils more dilated like this. Totally anecdotal but maybe there's a reason for it

He's stressed out. The body language nails it

He likes whoever is talking to him (marginally anyway) but he's in no mood to screw with that thing in his face.

I think it's the kitten I saw, he's acting territorial and that can be a problem with older males, especially if they were altered late

The aggression toward the human should absolutely be worked on though unless you failed him... and then for the sake of your nose, I would discourage the smacking
