With the video as evidence the insurance company will find the man who stopped the car at fault for excessive use of break. Hopefully it wasn't and this was dealt with by decent people

I would hope for the sake of humanity as a whole insurance covered this he literally saved lives that day

I'm in that category of hope also, but just knowing how insurance companies are like this was probably ignored as a life saving tactic
