Discussion Sawatari using snake on Aki
If she wanted kill Aki in EP 12, why couldn’t she use snake just see snake and kill him, swear it’s fast enough to kill Aki, and how did she get the ghost devil? She kept it in the snake mouth? And the ghost couldn’t see it cause she didn’t fear it?

Are you anime only?
It is likely that Sawatari was a plant by Makima. This being the case, killing Aki doesn't make sense because he is integral to her plan.

Snake required nails to activate, or so we saw. Sawatari probably didn't have any and was required to use something more, maybe fingers, hands? So it made no sense to sacrifice more of her body since she could take down Aki with Ghost Devil alone.
Edit: also, when Kobeni captured her, Sawtarinwould have needed to call out Snake and also mention what she wanted to sacrifice, a long statement when someone held a knife at her

Could be that because snake had swallowed ghost devil, that it had to spit it back up before using its other powers. She had snake swallow it whole and then spit it back up, guess that kinda reflects a real life snakes ability to eat something whole. I dont think Ghost would be able to kill sawatari because its technically under her control through using snake devils powers.

She's a psychopath and probably enjoyed using the Ghost against someone that liked it's previous user, as simple as that
As for how she got it, her snake simply has the ability to devour and control any devil is my assumption, it seems to cause her internal damage to perform that move however, which is the weakness of it

Kobeni dodged snake already and Aki had future sight. Pretty sure he would just dodge. Dodging became the problem because Ghost devil was attacking with like ten different hands from different directions.
