HDMI access on Carnival Encounter (formally P&O)

Iā€™m wondering if anyone has ever taken a peek behind the tv in the rooms to see if the HDMI ports are accessible?

Would love to bring a cable to connect my laptop and watch some tv shows to unwind.

Iā€™m travelling with family and will need some escape and unwind time šŸ˜‚

What I've read is the problem with this is that the remotes they provide don't allow access to change the TV input or other low level features. You might need to bring your own universal remote and figure out how to configure it for the TV brand and model.
