Image Super Sentai, the Japanese progenitor of Power Rangers, aired on this day in 1975 and has been running uninterrupted for exactly 50 years with 49 different seasons

There's an episode in Power Rangers Dino Thunder where the three main characters watch this Japanese version on TV.
I was super confused by this episode when I was a kid until today lol

If you want something really cool, they have done cross-overs with nearly, if not, all of the super sentai: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mJLyHR9QfM

Ahah, nostalgia alert! That's hilarious! Watching a show within a show can be so meta and confusing for kids, but it's awesome that you got the reference now. Did you end up watching the 'Japanese version' episode again as an adult, or was it just a funny moment of 'oh, I get it now'?
