Hahaha I thought i recognized him! But I couldn't think as to where. Funnily enough, I've compared Matt in this season multiple times to Joe Goldberg from You. They are both giving me the creeps. They both put on a nice/harmless guy persona while hiding their true violent natures from everyone they encounter. They both have dark/primal urges they attempt to fight until they can't any longer. The acting for both is very "uncanny valley," where the inside is not matching the outside, so it gives you a sense of unease and creeping dread.

I'm loving the glimpses we are getting of sinister!Matt this season. His snarling at Cherry last episode when cherry tells him that he will no longer help him was 🤌🤌🤌

On one hand I kinda agree with this, and I think this is because they're going to go down the Shadowland arc route of making him a villain for a future street-level teamup and return of the Defenders, maybe.

But also I really just want to see less fucking misery from my superhero shit at this point. The world is so fucking depressing I'm getting to the point where I'd like to see some happiness for once.

Most recent MCU films and shows have had a pretty upbeat vibe to them apart from a few so I don’t get where you’re seeing all this misery.
