Do I really have to get premium to customize my profile? :(

I made a new account after many years of not using DA and I don’t see any buttons to change my cover image and bio. I am on the web version on my phone. I checked the Core membership out of curiosity, and the first feature listed is customizing your profile. If you seriously need to pay money to something as basic as customizing your profile, I think that’s terrible. I have never seen something like that on a social media platform. Please tell me I am missing something or I can do it on the computer? And the worst thing is if I am understanding the fine print right, it doesn’t seem like you can pay monthly for Core, it just breaks down what the annual price would be per month, which is pretty misleading because it doesn’t state the annual price up front. I am so disappointed in what DA has come to, it used to be pretty cool :(

Cover image? You mean profile skins? That’s a premium function. You should be able to change your avatar however.

Update! Turns out the cover image and the profile skins are different, the cover image is the picture at the top and the skin is the background color behind your bio and stuff. I went on my iPad and was able to change my cover image with no issue, so it was a device issue like I had hoped :D maybe I can contact support to let them know about that issue with the phone version

Ohhh so that’s what the profile skin screen was for. That sucks :( yea I can change my pfp but the skin with the DA watermark all over it is so ugly 😭
