for the lore maybe there are other races living with humans, such as the avians, who fly far above them and prefer not to fight, but after loosing his entire village, one takes up a sword and becomes a wandering samurai
Nickname could be, the winged samurai, crimson dawn, or even angel of revenge
I like the idea, but WingDancer Swiftail is a knight captain of the Eagle King’s court, the last knight left alive after the fall of the kingdom he swore to serve. He became an adventurer in order to fulfil the last order his king gave to him: find the princess, protect her from the minister that betrayed the crown, and raise her to live righteously and with good will to others in her heart.
His motivation to continue with his adventures and quests is to provide for his ward as best he can and raise the youngling as his friend and King commanded.
The princess was kept at the home of a distant relative of the King’s wife, where she was being cared for by nanny’s. But she was no longer safe to remain there.
That’s about all I have so far, but I’m going to be putting more work into his backstory when I can, I could send it to you in a chat? Once I’ve done more work on the details etc. this is mostly for a dungeons and dragons game character, but I could turn their adventures into a story later down the line. (I’m good at coming up with characters but not so much on stories)
Would you also be able to draw a little baby owl Aarakocra? It’s his princess/adopted daughter, and the ward his fallen king ordered him to save and protect.
