I live off River Road close to the northwest expressway and I see/hear them all the time next to bodies of water! Sometimes they come up to my apartment and chill on the porch or my back door lol.

Aww, I love that. I live off River Rd too. They hang out under my window and croak me lullabies. Usually not until it gets a little warmer though.

That’s so cool, I love being able to hear them at night :) It’s cozy to fall asleep to haha

As the weather turns they get easier to find. We've had some cold nights, they are hunkered down and developing slowly.

There are no where as many frogs these days is there were when we moved to 40 years ago. When we moved here I live out in the county you couldn't go out at night without having to holler to the person you're standing next to because the frogs and crickets were so loud. Now it's just crickets

Now that you mention it, I've heard a lot less of them in amazon creek this year

I think I've heard of those. Those are the furry pets, right? The ones with the noses and such?

The frogs are the first ones to die off after the habitat gets filthy. Watched it happen elsewhere before, and we are seeing it happen in some areas here now. Not unexpected given how much trash is now in our waterways. Score another win for the humans I guess /s

Please don’t remove wild animals from their habitat for your own enjoyment
