I used to investigate what are these malicious links doing and they turned out to be crypto farming links

If you purchased FL studio a "long time ago", I'd recommend re-registering it. The way they do licensing changed a while back so older versions might not be in whatever fancy pants database they have. Once you do this you should be good to go.

It's not from Image Line.. They just set their account name as "image like no reply". Expand the sender name to see where it really came from and don't click on any link in that email. And forward it to image line support so they do something about it since it targets their customers

Dude, reach out to them directly and explain your situation And they'll fix in like 5 minutes. The other day my stupid self was trying to reregister my FL studio and didn't realize I had two accounts with two emails and I kept switching the email to the other for like 5 hours, and they merged the account in two seconds. 🥲 Reach out!

Purchase OR register. Doesn’t mean you need to purchase it again. Can just reregister FL with the site again.

It does not.

"To keep your account open, please sign in by [date] and purchase or register a project to your account*"*

So (re)reregister your copy of FL. FL authentication used to be possible offline using a license file, that changed a while back and so if you never upgraded, the FL auth servers aren't seeing the periodic auth ping it's now expecting.

I don't think I'm tweaking in saying this but my imageline has a purple icon and not blue I've never gotten one from them that has blue either, delete the email and sign in through the website general opinion 🙌🗿🪄

Would you mind clicking that little drop-down arrow in the "To:" row? If you've ever gotten emails from Image Line before you can compare the sender here with Image Line's usual email address domain. The most important thing is the domain - also known as the ____.com part (e.g. image-line.com).

Also, yes, contacting who the sender should be directly (not replying to the email) is a good anti-phishing technique.

You’d get scammed so easy. There’s multiple red flags in that email that screams “I’m a scammer and not image line”
