QUESTION Good STH loadouts
What are some optimal/viable loadouts for survive the horde? I wanna get the hotwire hero but i got smeared across the pavement trying to play it alone and with my loadout. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Don’t play it solo it’s not impossible but is incredibly difficult as for load outs your gonna want a constructor with some survivability I’ll give an example
Warden Kyle
Supercharged traps
Lofty architecture
Power modulation
Electrified floors
Frozen castle
Mega base
And for gadgets I recommend Slow field and drone u might wanna replace drone with banner but keep in mind you can’t respawn in STH
If you want a damage build u can use the standard teddy build which I don’t really recommend or standard xenon bow build but the one I use when I want damage is
Dragon scorch
Blakebeards stash
Ghoulish cackle
Swab the deck
Tail of the dragon
Avast mateys
Goin coconuts
Gadgets are drone and adrenaline rush (cuz this build is a glass canon lol)
These are just what has worked for me I’m sure there are other better loadouts especially for the constructor but these have served me well for challenge 5 140s

Depends on how many is in your party, what the other people are using, power level of yourself / heroes and power level of the mission.
Assuming you want to play solo, I'd go for BASE Kyle in the lead with Power BASE Knox in support to increase your builds' health and make them regen over time. That would be the basic loadout and you can then add others to taste.
Playing solo means you're not going to be able to collect all of the supply drops, so you may find you run short of resources early on, but I don't see Recycling as the most necessary of team perks, just prioritise what gets upgraded at what stage.

thanks, also would it be better to run ability builds like going commando over regular gun-based builds?

I used a low cooldown war cry build, we survived till the wave 14, but two teammates decided to quit, was pretty efficient
