Progress Pictures Progress from minoxidil!

I’ve (33F) been taking spironolactone for almost a year then added minoxidil right before Christmas. I never thought I saw a lot of new growth but I’m very pleased with the difference! I hope to see even more improvement 🤞

Huge improvement! Are you taking oral or topical minox?

Topical! I get it from curology, it’s their blend of 6% Minoxidil, 2% Ketoconazole (I have dandruff) and 2% Caffeine. It’s definitely pricier than getting the foam from a box store but I really like the way the liquid is so easy to apply.

100mg once daily! My boobs we’re really sore the first month or two and I almost stopped but they’re fine now 💁🏻

why does this happen? i took it when i mistakenly thought i had TE and for acne and it was unbearable!! nipple sensitivity was awfully high too. i would breakout into tears when my bf even grazed them. does it always go away? I felt like it only got worse for 2 weeks i took spiro haha

What’s your diagnosis? What do you think, which one helped more, spiro, minoxidil or both together?

PCOS! I feel like spiro helped reduce my dark facial hairs but didn’t help my head hair at all. I started shedding like crazy after I was already on spiro for about 9 months. (I was living in Asheville during the hurricane so I’m assuming the stress triggered my extreme shed) That’s when I started minoxidil, I can’t believe I waited until my hair looked like that first pic 😫

Im using topical Minoxidil & its turned out really well. I have a lot of baby hairs coming in on my side, which is amazing. Unfortunately I can’t find anything that will help the shedding and thin hair in the back. Your hair looks amazing though! Congrats:)
