Support/Advice PCOS and Hashimotos Hair Loss - tips and Rant?
I’ve had PCOS diagnosed for 8 years and over the past 3-4 years I was also diagnosed with Hashimotos Hypothyroidism. 2 years ago I started 1000 mg Metformin and 10 MG spirinolactone to help with symptoms and last year I started on GLP-1 to help with weight loss. I lost 40 lbs since then and some of my PCOS symptoms have alleviated but I feel like my spirinolactone dose may need adjusting. The weight loss also resulted in me suddenly losing a lot of hair. I also feel like I’ve been getting more acne recently which is why I feel like I need a higher dose of spirinolactone?
Anyway, can you please let me know your tips on how to grow my hair back again? Lifestyle and treatment tips. Pls???

Work with a derm who has experience in female hair loss. Most people lose hair with weight loss, it should rebound in a year as long as you treat any underlying issues. You should visit a derm to make sure your spiro is at the right dose to impact hair and to discuss other treatment options such as minoxidil, depending on your diagnosis.
