Question How do you achieve that warm nostalgic feel in footage?

I’m just getting started so I’m looking to see if maybe I should get a certain camera or a certain editor. I want to still have good looking footage but give it that warm feeling. I do not mean warm as in color but as in feeling when you see it.

This would be in your lighting and lens choice, not necessarily what camera or editor you have. Also it's easier to know what you mean if you provide examples

Production design, casting, lighting, and then acting. It's what's in front of the lens that counts for what you're asking.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the camera or the editing program. By the time the light hits the lens, it's a done deal, or not.
