Question Anyone used the BeastGrip 1.55 MK2 with a non Beast Cage

I'm interested in getting the BeastGrip 1.55 MK2 Anamorphic Lens and have a Small Rig Cage. I am using an Iphone 15 Pro Max. The Mk2 has 37mm threads--so though they recommend using it with the Beast Cage, it can theoretically be used with other Iphone Cages (small rig, FreeWell). These Anamorphic lens work by being properly aligned with the camera. Using a BeastGrip lens on a Beastgrip cage of course is the way to go--but when you already have an entirely different rig ( I have Small rig) I can get Moment, Neweer, Freewell, small rig anamorphic lenses but frankly the Beast Grip has the best look in my eyes for a 1.55 Anamorphic.

So anyone use this Mk2 (beast grip 1.55) on non Beast Grip cages?

Interesting.

My set up requires a sizable union crew to operate, but for what you are about to get I think you are on the right track.

Smiling --I knew the camera assistant, second camera assistant folks would come forward. That said, as you know, many people in the film world are farting around with iphones and their trained eyes , gadget finesse is valued.

It's not like the Iphone isn't in at least 50% of the hands of most folks walking around sets, editing suites, etc.

Used to be an assistant in the 80s.

The right awards from the right festivals can still open the doors.

There was a time where literally anyone with some talent would get a shot.

The me too movement The Social media scared just about everyone legit into hiding.

By the way did you look up tangerine to see how it was made and the outcome of that director?

Or the guy who did lights out $200 trailer, he makes the movie for 5 million and then eventually ends up directing Shazam.
