that took a while. 1/4 from left edge, near centerline. You can only see a piece of the body going left/right.

Edit! left side between a vertical brown stem and a lighter colored one that’s leaning towards the left. Kinda horizontal dk brown with a lighter colored stripe along its body

And I’m Australian - not walking in that grass, but I think I’ve been struck as I couldn’t find it. Didn’t look like a venomous one though.
