ANDROID BUG Fortnite's FPS keeps still locking in 60fps when it's on 90fps setting.

I am trying to play at 90fps and still gets 60fps I am trying to improve my device when gaming as it's still brand new and a flagship phone.

Playing in the new POCO F7 Pro with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

I don't why is it doing this and I tried so many methods to try to fix this long time issue that Fortnite has with their mobile users (in some devices) and it really bothers me that they don't come up with a fix.

Does anyone know a way to get this fixed?

(Fortnite Status has issued this around 7 months ago in Twitter/X and yet they still haven't came up with a solution or fix, not even an update post.)

EDIT: I tried using multi-accounts app and root explorer classic, it did run at 90fps for a short period of time when disabling v-sync and changing fps manually in client settings, but the it gets to the usual 60fps after closing and reopening the game and noticed alot of performance drops using this method.

Does your phone have a 90hz option instead of 120? If not the phone may still be using 120hz which would be why it is capping at 60fps

No, it doesn't have that option anymore on other devices (also Xiaomi) it has 90hz options, but in this phone it only has 60hz or 120hz.

Only way you can get 90fps is if you can get the phone to use 90 hz instead of 120

Well I don't wanna custom-rom the device, as its still brand new and still has warranty.

Even if I do some system edits on the device, it wouldn't work for the new versions of the OS / Android Version, so I am left with no choices.

I had a friend test it with his device on 90hz on a different poco phone, but he has SD 8 Gen 2, and it still doesn't work, so there are nothing to solve it at this point.

Epic needs to step up its been almost 7 months with no updates on this common issue.

are you playing without a cooler? even though the system ui is running at 120fps, xiaomi/poco will throttle the game to 60fps if the phone is hot

It doesn't get hot at all, I play at low graphics but use high textures, with 100% resolution.

Xbox Cloud Gaming needs high to low graphics and resolution options and 30-60-120FPS settings including RTX and Ray Tracing options.

I am talking about natively, cloud streaming is so delayed and terrible in quality, best playing the game in real hardware.

Try turning Show Taps and keep your finger on the screen while you're loading in to keep it at 120hz

Didn't work.

Yeah, sounds like you'll need to find out how to get 90hz on your phone

On IOS it's 30FPS which just keeps crashing the game making it laggy and freeze up and yeah this is Xbox Cloud Gaming. Just make it have RTX Ray Tracing and 120FPS..

I don't think Apple even supports cloud gaming, some services are only usable using Safari.

But in this topic I'm talking about Native Fortnite running in real mobile hardware.

Apple and others need cloud gaming support and hardware improvements.

I had that too. Then i found out my phone had the batteey saving turned on. I also sometimes can fix it by setting it to 90. Restart the game. And set it to 90 again cause it jumps back to 60. And from then on it keeps working
