it doesn't need to be removed, it needs to be nerfed into being fair, it's exhausting seeing the fortnite community piss themselves every time something even remotely powerful gets released and everyone is complaining about how it needs to be removed, just edit the stats, get rid of the stun locking mechanic, and make it so it doesn't launch you halfway across the map, easy

The weapon itself should definitely stay. There should definitely be a longer cooldown and charge time.

There's always a way to fight back against the new "OP" weapons they add each season and it's fun to figure out what works for your own particular play style imo. I find hip-firing with ARs is the most effective against the bat. Instead of reloading, just switch to your next weapon and keep hip-firing when they're close. Actually it's usually best to switch to your next weapon rather than reloading anyway lol, but ESPECIALLY in melee situations.

They may as well take all the guns out, people rarely use them anymore, like at 90% chance or better you get jumped by a full team beating you down with bat's. Especially when the notice you'd rather try to fight them with your gun.

Hip-firing with an AR also works really well for melee weapons, you just gotta switch to another weapon and keep hip-firing instead of trying to reload.

The new roll mechanic does save you from a lot of fall damage if it isn't crazy high.
